Once activated they consume the hydrocarbons in the water and leave behind only harmless, natural byproducts. The Drain Guard, Archaea Boom Model provides protection above AND below the storm drain.

The dual component product includes an Ultra-Drain Guard to capture pollutants entering drain and an archaea boom to clean up the inside of the catch basin.

The Ultra-Drain Guard catch basin insert captures dirt, sediment, oil, grease and other pollutants and stops them from entering the water system.

The Ultra-Archaea Boom includes a 4' tether and is tied to a grommet in the bottom of the Ultra-Drain Guard.

The boom floats on the water and oil-eating microbes are released to consume any hydrocarbons present.
